Powering Industry With Clean Energy

LCH Energy was born out of necessity: our mines and processing plants needed reliable, affordable power in remote locations. What began as captive generation has grown into a standalone division with 1.2 GW of installed renewable capacity across Chile, Portugal, Ghana and Norway — anchored by the 480 MW Atacama Solar Energy Park in northern Chile.

The division develops projects from greenfield through to operation, keeping engineering, procurement and asset management in-house. Roughly a third of our output powers LCH group operations; the remainder is sold to utilities and industrial customers under long-term power purchase agreements.
